Ajikoubou Iwasa

A Western-style izakaya that abundantly uses ingredients from Miyagi Prefecture and offers teppanyaki as well.

A 5-minute walk from Hirose-dori Station, at Iwasa, visitors can enjoy the rich ingredients of Miyagi, including locally sourced beef, pork, and duck, fresh seafood from nearby waters, and seasonal vegetables. The restaurant offers simple yet delicious 'teppanyaki' to savor the flavors of the ingredients, as well as homemade curry made with Sendai's famous beef tongue. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including wine and sake.

The interior is designed with brick walls and a chic color scheme, creating a calming atmosphere. There are box seats that can be partially enclosed with curtains, as well as completely private rooms. For those ordering teppanyaki, the counter seats are recommended. Guests can enjoy watching fresh ingredients being grilled on the iron plate right in front of them, along with the sounds and aromas.

Bisaidining Yuda, located a 5-minute walk from Tagajo Station, offers a popular menu featuring beautifully arranged 'Sashimi Platter' made with fresh seafood from Miyagi Prefecture, and 'Shrimp in Chili Sauce' using large shrimp. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of authentic dishes ranging from Japanese, Western, and Chinese to genuine Italian cuisine, along with a rich selection of drinks including sake, beer, and cocktails that appeal to women.

This large restaurant can accommodate large parties. It features spacious table seating and private rooms, but for smaller groups, the counter seats are also recommended for a more casual experience. Chef Eto, San-chome Branch

Seasonal delicacies and specialties from Tohoku, paired with carefully selected sake by a sake sommelier.

It is an 8-minute walk from Kotodai-Koen Station. The chef, Eto, at the San-chome restaurant offers seasonal dishes such as 'Today's Recommended Menu' and 'Omakase Nigiri Assortment,' featuring items that can only be enjoyed during that season and on that day. Visitors should also try the Sendai specialty 'Gyutan Yaki,' made from carefully grilled domestic black-haired wagyu tongue.

The restaurant features counter seats where guests can closely observe the chefs at work, as well as spacious table seats that can accommodate small groups to larger parties. Additionally, the restaurant has two sake sommeliers, known as "kikisake-shi," who curate a selection of around 20 different types of sake from various regions, and they also offer pairing suggestions that complement the dishes.
